Turkeys are Taking Over

So clearly the Turkeys of Cambridge (here and here) are taking over town. Here we are at the corner of Banks and Mt. Auburn Streets and discover a turkey ambling down the street. What wasn't captured in this video clip was that the turkey attempted to "hide" between the bike and woman who was walking with it on the sidewalk ahead of us. Every time she stopped the turkey stopped, tucked its head under its wing, and stayed very still between the woman and the bike. When she started walking, the bird started walking.

Some call Tippi.

The View From Here: Act Natural Edition

Regular readers have learned that Cambridge has a tiny flock of turkeys to call its own. Check back here and here for earlier postings. I just imagine the conversation these two turkeys are having. "Act natural Harold. Maybe she won't notice us." I did notice them. I don't understand why the human won't let me eat them. It seems unfair. Doesn't it?
